Dear colleagues,

Global civil society comes together at the World Social Forum (WSF) in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 15 to 19 February. More than 1,000 civil society organisations and thousands individuals will gather to discuss issues affecting humanity and the planet.We are happy to take part as GCAP and to cooperate with different partners.

The NGO Federation of Nepal (GCAP Nepal) is playing a key role in the Nepal Organising Committee of the World Social Forum. This work is led by Arjun Kumar Bhattarai from the NGO Federation and GCAP Global Council member.

GCAP is co-organising 7 events at the World Social Forum.

We also would like to invite you to two events as part of GCAP priorities in 2024: On Social Protection and the Summit of the Future.

Both will be part of the Asia Pacific Forum for Sustainable Development (APFSD) from 20 to 23 February 2024 in Bangkok. The theme of the forum is “Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: The effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions in Asia and the Pacific”.

Please register using the option “Registration for Others” and choose your side event.  Those who do not register on Indico will not be able to access the United Nations Conference Center.
