The Asia Regional People’s Assembly 2026 will bring together civil society organisations, people’s movements and community representatives from across Asia and beyond to discuss debt, economic policies, conflict, climate change, democracy and human rights.

The Assembly will discuss the impacts of IMF and World Bank policies, debt and social protection, as well as war and conflict in the Gulf, Nepal’s climate catastrophe, climate finance and justice, democracy and human rights and the post-2030 agenda.

The event will also provide space for community voices and experiences from across the region, with participants discussing their challenges and pathways towards economic and social justice.
